Charlotte, N.C.- ProctorFree will be attending, and presenting at the 20th Online Learning Consortium International Conference. This will be ProctorFree’s second time attending.

The conference, held in Orlando, Fla. on Oct. 29-31, hosts presentations that reflect the field of specific e-learning experience and practices, and provides the latest information on asynchronous learning programs, processes, packages, and protocols.

The Director of Partner Relations at ProctorFree, Jeffrey Kaplan, will be presenting. Kaplan’s presentation, “Reducing Stress for Test Success: Designing User Experience to Mitigate Test Anxiety,” will be focused on the disastrous effects of stress and anxiety on student test performance, as well as discussion of methods to help reduce stress before exams, with examples from live assembly-style exams at the University of Florida, with an eye towards the future of assessment in online education platforms.

“This is a topic I really enjoy speaking about at conferences with educators. When I was a student I had a really hard time coping with test anxiety, and it took me lots of time and practice to overcome it. With just a few very deliberate alterations in assessment delivery and design, the test taking experience can be formative – even enjoyable,” said Kaplan.

Kaplan will be presenting Oct. 29 at 3 p.m.
