The ProctorFree team is heading to Music City! The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSOC) Annual Meeting is in Nashville, Tennessee this December 6th to 9th and we’ll be exhibiting.

SACS is an accrediting body – so what is ProctorFree doing there? Well since we can verify the identity of individuals we’re able to protect your school against Financial Aid Fraud (Title IV) and ensure that your students are who they say they are. Not to mention all the cheating detection we can do. At any rate, rumor has it that accrediting bodies are starting to look at online enrollment and proctoring with a bit more scrutiny – so take a moment to peruse our website to learn about how cool and effective proctorless proctoring can be.

If you’ll be joining us in Nashville for the SACS conference (SACSOC) you’ll want to get the most out of the conference and the city. Our Director of Partner Relations, Jeffrey Kaplan, has some tips for you on how to make the most out of the trip to Nashville while your darting between sessions. We call this: Jeff’s Five Fast Fun Things to do in Nashville.

#5 Listen to a street performer.

Broadway, the main drag through downtown, is full of artists doing the singer/songwriter thing to some funky progressive bluegrass. Musicians travel from all over the USA to come to Nashville, so check out a busker or two.

#4 Check out the Ryman

Historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville

Like history? Like music? Love America? Stop by this historic building where legends are made.

#3 Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides

According to my wife, it’s a must-do-attraction in Nashville. She’s also a veterinarian, so it’s no surprise she likes animal things.

#2 The Escape Game

Ultimate team building exercise. Ever wish you woke up in one of those Saw movies? Now you can! This sounds like a blast…or terrifying experience based on your personality. Here’s the description from the website:

“The Escape Game is a fun, new entertainment concept located only 4 miles from Downtown Nashville, and is the first of its kind in the South. Each Escape Room is a real life adventure game designed for small groups. Whether you’re a group of friends, family members, or coworkers, your goal is simple: you have one hour to work together, crack codes and solve ciphers to escape.  Book today and see if you have what it takes to escape in under 60 minutes!”

Just think of the stories you’ll be able to tell from SACSOC!

#1 Eat at Jacks BBQ

There are actually a couple of locations. I’ll be gobbling up the brisket at the Broadway location. It is the best brisket I’ve ever eaten. And I’ve eaten Brisket from in every state SACS accredits.

If you are going to the SACS Annual Meeting and are looking for a buddy to do any of the above with, swing by the ProctorFree table and ask for Jeff. He’ll gladly tag along after exhibiting hours. If you’re not going to SACS and want to follow along with the fun, follow us on Twitter @ProctorFree.
