ProctorFree- Canvas InstructureCon Wrap Up

Wow! What a conference! As first time attendees, Mike and I (the co-founders of ProctorFree) could not have been more impressed with the delivery of such a grand event. From the food, entertainment, and sessions, the Canvas staff thought of everything to make the event educational and fun.

Our goal when we registered for the conference was to attend sessions to learn more about features in Canvas. However, we found out very early that the networking opportunities were where the real lessons about Canvas were learned. I was amazed at the level of knowledge so many people had about Canvas. I soaked up as much information around the campfire as I could learning from fellow educators’ personal experiences with Canvas and other educational companies.

It was prevalent in every conversation we had that Canvas partners are true believers in the product. I guess you could say, Canvas partners “drank the Kool-Aid.” I can only imagine that it’s because Canvas gives its users an experience just as outstanding as the conference.

From the gondola rides, concerts, free golf cart rides, and movies in the Forum, we were never bored last week.  However, I must admit my favorite part of the conference was receiving my very own Canvas InstructureCon jacket. Who doesn’t love free swag?

Most important, we are incredibly grateful to every single person we met with while at Canvas. We learned so much from all of you in the way of online proctoring and what the students, faculty, and staff want to see in a product. These interactions are priceless and help us maintain focus on delivering a product that you want to use. So keep the feedback coming! Let us know what you like about your online proctoring experiences or even what you like about other products! It keeps us moving in the right direction. You can always schedule a time to chat with us via Calendly!

Again, it was an awesome conference and if you haven’t attended you should. I don’t think Canvas conferences can be topped! You’ll have a blast!
