ProctorFree Celebrates Online Learning Day

Why Online Learning Matters to the ProctorFree Team

In celebration of National Online Learning Day, we are sharing why online learning is important to each one of us. We are proud to do what we do here at ProctorFree and we are committed to improving the ever-growing online learning community. Today, we reflect on the past, think about the present, and celebrate the future of online learning.

“Online learning is important because it is helping great institutions solve problems while they help train and educate our society and the emerging workforce. Building things and helping solve problems is fun and rewarding. We are helping people get credit for all the hard work they put into studying and pursuing their goals.” – Mike Murphy, Co-Founder & COO

“Had it not been for online learning, I would not have been able to earn my Master’s. Online learning allowed me to earn my degree while working. Earning my degree then opened up huge opportunities for me and eventually led to the creation of ProctorFree.” – Velvet Nelson, Co-Founder & CLO

“We provide the wood, nails, and hammer to build the bridge for students who need to ensure their testing integrity at a distance. Students study for countless hours only to experience technical issues when they’re ready to take a test. ProctorFree offers worry-free support to ensure these students can focus on what’s important: their test. I believe online learning will quickly enable and enshrine the lifelong learning curriculum of the future.” – Harrison Turley, Support Lead

“Online learning is important because everyone’s educational path is different. Learning is not one size fits all, which is why I work for a company that makes it possible for all types of students to further their education.” – Karina Mariotti, Account Manager

“Online learning is important to me because time is priceless. Online learning allows you to make the most of your time while learning, working, as well as making time for friends and family.” – Lisa Moore, Senior Auditor

“I come from a family of educators. My parents and siblings are all teachers or education administrators; so I guess you could say education runs in my blood. I got into higher education, specifically continuing education, over ten years ago, and have been enriched by the opportunity to help others achieve their goals. Online education is the future and present of higher education; and I come to work every day excited about the opportunity to shape and grow tools that are enhancing accessibility and integrity.” – Eric McGee, VP of Partnership Development

“I believe online learning is important because of how empowering and accessible it is. I don’t think there is anything more empowering than being able to help all learners receive the education they both need and deserve.” – Sarah Smith, Marketing Coordinator
