Huntersville, NC – ProctorFree was one of more than 250 applicants selected for the semifinal round of “Get in the Ring: The American Startup Clash“. Get in the Ring, hosted by the Kauffman Foundation, is an international pitch competition that offers entrepreneurs the chance to pitch their companies against other startups in different countries, and continents.
ProctorFree, along with 19 U.S. semifinalists, has until Sept. 26 to submit a three-minute video detailing its team, achievements, financials, and investment proposition. Based on video entries and written applications, five American finalists will be chosen and announced the week of Oct. 6 to advance to the North American level of competition, held Nov. 6-7 in Kansas City, Mo.

The five U.S. finalists will go against five finalists each from Canada and Mexico for the continent’s championship title. The North American champion will be announced during an exciting livestreamed event where the entrepreneurs actually step into a boxing ring for a verbal sparring match to determine the best startup. The North American champion will ultimately travel to Rotterdam, the Netherlands, to compete against winners from six other global regions as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.
